Education shouldn’t be a luxury, but for many families we meet, it’s often the first thing they’re forced to sacrifice. At Yashr Foundation, our School Support Drive began after hearing one too many stories of bright children missing out because their parents couldn’t afford basic things — like shoes, notebooks, or admission forms.
We don’t just focus on tuition. We cover what no one talks about — school bags, uniforms, bottles, lunch boxes, and even transport fees when needed. These may seem small, but they are often the invisible walls keeping children out of school. Our goal is not only to place children in classrooms, but to keep them there — confident, equipped, and eager to learn.
Education is more than classrooms and exams — it is the first step toward confidence, choice, and change. By reducing barriers like fees, supplies, and access, we ensure every child has the chance to grow through learning.
Over the years, we’ve added scholarship support for high-performing students and started mobilizing sponsors for long-term commitments. In our journey, we’ve also seen volunteers become mentors, checking in on students regularly and guiding them through academic hurdles.
